Gabriel is, in my opinion, the most mischaracterized character in all of ULTRAKILL. While every character is mischaracterized a lot- just look at Minos, for God’s sake-, I consider Gabriel’s to be worse because he is, by far, the most developed character in all of ULTRAKILL, which makes you have to be a certain level of ignorant or gullible to ignore what he is.

Not as if that matters anymore. I’m here to educate you.

Overview

Gabriel was designed by Jericho (a part of the ULTRAKILL team), and made his first debut on September 3, 2020, though Hakita and Gabriel’s voice actor, Gianni Matragrano, only began to work together a week before the game came out in Early Access, after Gianni approached Hakita and offered his talents. Hakita stated that Gianni did a fantastic job of capturing the “visceral intensity” and “subtler nuances” of Gabriel’s internal world. Hakita also adds that Gianni entirely improvised Gabriel’s 3-2 taunts.
